AA in Corrections

We are in need for men and women AA members for meetings in Local Jails and Prison.

Jail Requirements:

  • 1 Year of Sobriety, (This may be looked at on a case to case basis)…
  • Must be “OFF PAPER”…
  • Must not have been an inmate in the Muscogee County Jail for 1 Year
  •  Must have NO OUTSTANDING WARRANTS, HOLDS, or other legal actions pending…

Prison Requirements:

  • 1 Year of Sobriety…
  • Must be “OFF PAPER” for 3 Years…
  • Must have NO OUTSTANDING WARRANTS, HOLDS, or other legal actions pending…
  • Must pass a BACKGROUND check…

State Corrections Training Session Dates for 2019

Session is approximately 5 hours – 8 AM – 1 PM

If you’re interested in Training for the Prison

The next State Corrections Training Session will be Saturday, March 2, 2019, 10:00am – 2:00pm.

Registration begins at 9am.

The Volunteer Training State Offices South at:

Tift College, Roberts Chapel
300 Patrol Road Forsyth, GA 31029

Directions to State Offices South at Tift College from Columbus, GA (1.5 – 2 hours)

  • Take Highway 80-22 towards Macon.
    Highway 80-22 turns into Highway 96.
    Stay on Highway 96 until you get Butler, GA
    Turn left at the stop sign (traffic light) and stay on Highway 19 until you see
    Highway 80-22 to Roberta and Macon.
    Stay on Highway 80-22 until you see Julia Jordan Road on the right,
    Turn left on Hopewell Church Road until it ends.
    Turn Left on Highway 341 North.
    Turn Right on Highway 42 North. You go past downtown Forsyth.
    Turn Right on Patrol Road.
    300 Patrol Road is on the Right (State Offices South at Tift College)
